Hi!
Welcome to my new blog. The title is, of course, swiped without a blush from James Thurber’s wonderful book, and I hope you’ll read that book if you haven’t already.
Some of my friends (Hi, Tony; Hi, Catherine!) have advised me for quite a while to start a blog. I guess now’s a good time to take them up on it! All I ask of visitors is that they leave any political, sexual, religious or other inflammatory opinions on the sidewalk out front.

What a good idea Jim. You and Patty will have fun with this. I like your new pictures. Your grand daughter is growing so fast. Seriously. Baby pictures last year. Good thing Murphy has a four legged buddy. We could all use one of those.

The Edison car photo is beyond my dream car vision.
I never realized any car could be that sleek and artistic but you have the proof. We love your blog.

I offered the Edison’s Home museum $75 for that car, seeing as how it was old, but they refused to entertain my offer. Go figure!!!
